The Popular Show Season Four Unveils the Soldiers Table

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with extensive world-building, a colorful mix of characters, and a gripping narrative showcasing angels, fiends, and malevolent powers increasing in influence within the urban setting.

Warning: Spoilers for the latest installment of this adventure follow below.

The Combat-Oriented Party Unveiled

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the first table of characters who will branch out from the primary party to undertake their separate journey, apart from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team includes Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and Kattigan (the actor).

Why Split the Party?

With an extensive roster, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at the same party would be unworkable.

This explains, the first four episodes of this story serve as an Prelude, connecting the characters’ stories before splitting into three smaller tables: Soldiers, Planners, and Seekers.

What Defines the Combat Party

According to the Dungeon Master, the warrior group is for adventurers who prefer a typically action-packed combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are scarce.

Initially, characters like the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might look out of place, but the actions of the latest installment make it clear why these particular heroes are perfectly fit for the combat party.

Reasons to Leave

First, the party knows exactly where to proceed after a brutal first encounter with the antagonists.

Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose demise started the narrative’s action—exploited the enemy for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, attacking Thimble, and taking all the magical artifacts to sell off.

The traitor then paid off his liabilities and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in Gormalay, Timmony, north of the city, with Cyd Pridesire hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each adventurer has a personal reason to exit the urban setting:

  • The agile hero, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, seeks revenge.
  • The knowledgeable figure knows the northern area and cautions that it is a nasty place.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate the target and instead rescued him, have nowhere else to go.
  • However, their reputation as prominent individuals in House Halovar could enable the party access places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, Teor pledged a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his salvation and will now follow him everywhere.

Fugitives

Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making remaining behind too risky:

  • Thimble and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and Wicander betrayed the powerful family and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • The target is wanted dead by the clan.

This results in them no alternative but to journey toward Timmony in pursuit of the traitor.

Future Episodes

According to the recent installment’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the remaining eight cast members to round up the Explorers and Planners parties.

Viewers can expect discovering which players will be where in the story’s last Overture episode, streaming live on next week.
